Welcome to the memorial page for

Mr. Van G. Culpepper

January 8, 1955 ~ July 12, 2017 (age 62) 62 Years Old

Van Culpepper was born on January 8, 1955 to the parents of Ms. Mary Elizabeth Culpepper and Mr. Robert White. According to God's tender mercy, he peacefully went to be with The Lord on July 12,2017. Van was born and raised in the city of Atlanta and enjoyed his scholastic successes at Archer High School.

His love for the open road lead him to a career in truck driving at the age of 16. He retired from Space Flooring where he was known as an honorable and dedicated employee. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at Collins Memorial United Methodist where he served as a member. Van was loved and respected in his community as the man that never left the house without his hat. He had a very unique way of making others laugh and feel good about life. He loved cutting grass and listening to old school music.

On October 22, 1999 he married his high school sweetheart, Lyntoria Pass-Culpepper, and were together for a total of 42 years. There union was blessed with 4 children. He was a firm believer in the strength, character, and love of family until his last breath. One of his goals in life was to ensure that his kids were all raised in one household.

So, we join today to celebrate his eternal rest in glory for absence from this earthly body renders his presence with the Lord. Van G. Culpepper is preceded in death by his mother, Ms. Mary Elizabeth Culpepper, and father, Mr. Robert White.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Lyntoria Pass-Culpepper; daughter, Mrs. Jason (Kadelia) Glasgow, 3 sons Mr. Van Pass, Mr. Derrick Pass, and Mr. DeAndre (Miriam) Pass; 3 grandchildren Xavier Glasgow, Isabella Glasgow, and Denzil Pass; 3 brothers Mr. Mark S. Culpepper, Mr. Brannon (Carla) Culpepper, and Mr. Glen Culpepper; 2 sisters Ms. Tina Culpepper and Ms. Nina Culpepper; and a host of family and friends
