Gladys E. Sims was born to Mr. and Mrs. Evan on January 28, 1919. She was their only child.
Gladys joined Jehovah Witness in 1939. Two of her favorite scripture verses were, Psalms 23:3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Psalms 23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Today she will be joining both her daughter, Peggy M. Sims; loving husband Charlie T. Sims in the heavenly home.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to her family and God. Gladys leaves to cherish her loving memory Therese Sims, Samuel Kenneth and Perry Sims; four children in marriage, Mary, Beatrice, Charles and Odel Sims; Grandchildren, Stephanie, Bridgette, Tiffany, Nicole, Jonathan, Kimberly, Darnell and Harvey. She also leaves a host of great grandchildren and extended family and friends.
She will be missed but her memory will forever live through us.
