Mrs. Regena E. Eccleston

Regina Elaine Eccleston was born on September 18th, 1960 to (the late) James Outcalt and Jennie Outcalt in Jamaica, New York. She was the youngest of four children, her siblings being Robert, Ronnie, and Robin. “Queen G” as she was affectionately known attended Far Rockaway High School until she moved to Jamaica, Queens. There she attended Springfield Gardens High School. After excelling in various corporate careers, Gina chose to pursue her passion in the culinary arts. Without much formal training, Gina managed to be a top chef and caterer, honing her craft at home. Although she worked for several restaurants along the way, she catered numerous events for family and friends before becoming an entrepreneur. Her family knew she was a far better cook than any restaurant or diner that Atlanta had to offer. 

In 1992, Regina Outcalt married Roy G. Eccleston and from this union, came three sons. Christopher Joseph, Keith Xavier, and Collin Jordan. She also supported and helped raise Roy’s son Ky-Heem Butler.

The family relocated (From NYC) to Norcross, GA where Gina continued to hone her craft in cooking while raising her children. While living in Georgia, Gina became a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, under Bishop Eddie L. Long. It is here where Gina further developed and cultivated her faith and her love of the Lord. In fact, one of her favorite scriptures was Romans 8:28 KJV “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love the Lord, to those who are called according to His purpose.” 

Queen G leaves to cherish her memory her mother Jennie Outcalt, her brothers Robert, Ronnie, Jaymein, Justin and her sister Robin. She also leaves behind her four surviving children Chris J. Keith X. Collin J. her stepson Ky-Heem D and her ex-husband and longtime friend Roy G. Along with her MANY, MANY, MANY, grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends.
