May your family find strength as " the hearer of prayer" embraces their hearts. Lean on one another for comfort when the days ahead become to stressful to be alone. We hope that the many cards, hugs, kind words and loving prayers sustains your family, during this most difficult time,

To the West & Brown families - It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter of Sister Ruby. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. If I can share my favorite scripture: Proverbs 3:5-6 - Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Ruby is now resting in the arms of our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. May our Lord bless and comfort you and your family during this time of grief. Please accept our sincere condolences.

Ms. Ruby, you were a "jewel" to the citizens of Clayton County and a blessing to the courthouse. We will all miss your strength and your presence. Love your Magistrate Court Family.

To the family of Ruby Hartsfield West:

I am Mamie Davis from Bainbridge, Georgia. Ruby and I were classmates, and we graduated together from Hutto High School in 1965.

Ruby and I spoke on the phone from time to time, and I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I know there is not much that anyone can say during a time like this, but I just hope it helps that others share in your grief.

We live in Marietta, not too far from Douglasville, and will try to rearrange some things so we will be able to attend the service. Physically present or not, please know that we bow with you.
