Mrs. Ruby H. West

Ruby Hartsfield West-born May 29, 1947 in Donalsonville, Georgia to the late Deacon John and Annie Mae Hartfield.  She was the second eldest of nine children.

She graduated from Hutto High School Bainbridge, Georgia and attended Albany State College.  She continued on and was employed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation Washington, DC and later transferred into Education within the Federal Government.

Married to the late Noel R Hamilton III.  From that union she had one son, Noel R Hamilton, Jr, Kennesaw, Georgia. Ruby accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, Brinson, Ga. Later she accepted Christ’s call and was baptized in 1998 through the revival under the red and white tent on Campbellton Road  which  began the inception of New Jerusalem Praise and Worship Center. During her 19 years of faithful, committed and  dedicated service,  she served in the capacity of Head Deaconess and Church Clerk  and also  contributed to Hospitality to assist with providing food for others.  She will be remembered for her smile, her soft spoken voice and quiet loving Christian spirit and we are eternally grateful for her unselfish contributions

Ruby leaves to cherish her memory -Son-Noel (Lisa),  four Grandchildren,  Alysssia,  Makinzie,  Dylan and Braydon, Sister-Lillian Brown, Brother-Robert Hartsfield (Linda), John Hartsfield (Shelia), Sister- Paula Backey, a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, other family members and friends.
