Rahmier Lamont Gardner, son of Pamela and Lamont, was born February 18, 1998 in McKeesport Hospital, McKeesport, PA.
Rahmier was an amazing person that had a smile that could light up a room and change the atmosphere. Originally from Clairton, PA he was rooted and understood that work ethic and a fighting spirit will prevail in most situations.
He was active in sports beginning at the age of four. He played baseball, football, track & field, and basketball. He excelled in all, but baseball was his passion. Hard work and determination to be the best at everything drove Rah, in the classroom as much as between the lines. Upon arriving in Georgia, he attended the Brookwood cluster. Immediately, Rahmier understood that his foundation would carry him through because, the same rules applied, “never be out worked”.
In 2016, he graduated from Brookwood High School amongst a class of over 900 plus and was currently pursuing a business degree at Kennesaw State University.
Rah never met a stranger. He was energetic, charismatic and effortlessly charming. The love he expressed for his family and friends (whom were considered family as well) was always shown. He never had a hidden agenda. Direct and firm, but always the same. The balance that Rah displayed between the adult duties and finding time to enjoy his youth was amazing. He had great friends, because frankly he was a great friend. Rah loved traveling and living because he never just wanted to exist. We marveled at his courage and sense of adventure. Very rarely does a young man have not only a plan, but a structured plan of achieving those goals. His dreams were as big as his heart and his heart was immeasurable.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving parents, Pamela and Lamont, sisters: Rachel (Keri) Mackey and Eriauna Gardner, brothers: Courtlynd Gardner and Gabe Singleton, grandmother: Shirley Mockabee niece: Camryn Coleman, nephew: Cortier Gardner, aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of other relatives and friends.
