Connie” was born August 18, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Mrs. Virginia Williams-Broadnax and stepfather, Mr. James Broadnax, Jr. God called her home on December 5, 2019.
Ms. Connie attended David T. Howard High School, where she received her diploma and participated in various activities. Ms. Connie was a hard worker who took good care of her children. She worked as a front desk attendant and housekeeper for the Omni Hotel from 1976- 1979. She then pursued a career as a mortician for Blake Funeral Home from 1979-1986. Later, she found herself working at Pasehals Hotel for thirteen years until she took ill in 2002.
Ms. Connie was known for discipling the neighborhood kids. She would take in anyone in need and everyone enjoyed her cooking.
Ms. Connie never met a person who was a stranger. She was a lover of music and the life of the party.
She is preceded in death by: her mother, Mrs. Virginia Williams- Broadnax; stepfather, Mr. James Broadnax, Jr.; son, Mr. Tony Williams; and two daughters, Chinita and Cynthia Williams.
She is survived by: one daughter, Ms. Kenya Williams; two sons, Mr. Quintin Williams and Mr. Robert Burr; ten grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren; and a host of cousins and friends.
