Reverend Frank James Williams, Sr., was born October 12, 1939 to the late Reverend Frank and Zolar Williams in Atlanta, Georgia.
His Family Life –
Reverend Frank James Williams, Sr., was the youngest of four siblings, which included his sisters, Louise Billingsley, Victoria Mattie Williams, and the late Doris Williams. He married the late Vera Mae Williams in 1961, and this great union was blessed with five children. They celebrated over 37 years of marriage before her transition.
His Education/Military Employment Life -
Reverend Frank James Williams, Sr., received his public education from Turner High School in Atlanta, GA, and after graduation, he joined the United States Marine Corps, where he served until 1961. After his service in the military, he became a dedicated employee of Overnight Trucking Company, where he worked for over 25 years until his retirement.
His Ministry -
Reverend Frank James Williams, Sr., accepted Christ into his life at a young age and loved playing the guitar and singing. He was the founder and pastor of Salt of the Earth Ministries while in good health and later joined Victory Worldwide Ministries, where he served until his illness. Along with spending time with his family, Reverend Frank Williams had a great passion and love for fishing.
His Transition -
Reverend Frank James Williams, Sr., transitioned to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 7, 2019. He leaves to cherish his memories: his beloved children, Minister Grace Brown, Juanita Williams, Pastor Wanda Smith, Pastor Frank J. Williams, Jr., and Pastor Rodney (Lanita) Williams; grandchildren, Colnith “Tee” Brown, Denard Benton, Michael Williams, Minister Tory Brown, Mikaela Spencer, Taylor Williams, Diamond Smith, Kemuel Williams, and Lauren Spencer; his sister, Louise Billingsley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
