Mr. Augustus "Gus" Ross Jr.

Born January 2, 1959 Spirit departed November 23, 2020

Augustus was born & raised in Birmingham,  Alabama  He was educated in the Birmingham Public Schools and attended West End High School. Augustus worked for the Birmingham City School System State  for more than 20 years, where he retired from in 2015. Gus was married to Cynthia Johnson and shared a very loving relationship and shared in raising 4 step children together up until her death 
Augustus was preceded in death by his father Augustus Ross Sr. and a devoted wife Cynthia Ross. Gus Jr leaves to cherish his deeply devoted Mother Thelma E. Andrews Ross, two Sisters  Joann (Johnny) Parnell, Patricia (Edward) Kirkland, four dedicated Brothers  William E. (Edith) Ross, Christopher Dale Ross, Martin and Marvin Ross. Four Step Children Kendra, Steve and James Johnson and Ashley Robbins. Gus has four Aunts and three Uncles living and a  host of Nieces, Nephews and countless number of cousins.
