Obituary

Baron Payne departed this life on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Emory University Hospital. 

He was born December 17, 1965, to Marion Payne and the late Johnny Gregory (Hayward). Baron attended elementary school in Jamaica, NY and finished his education at Northeastern High School in Elizabeth City, NC., he was baptized in Weeksville, NC at The New Salem Baptist Church.

Baron had a love for driving trucks, he made that his career. Until he could no longer drive. He also loved Fishing. He was a loving Father, Son Grandfather, nephew & cousin … Love being with family keeping in touch with his loved ones, any family member could receive a random call from Baron just to say hi.

He leaves to Cherish his memories: Mother: Marion Payne, Son; Rojie Payne & daughter-in-law Randy Payne,,Granddaughter;:the light of his eye Sydni Payne.Five Aunts: Patricia Lucas of Richmond, Va. and Sharon Leverette and a host of other relatives and friends.
