DeVario Dante Matthews, son of Tamitha Matthews and Gary Williams, was born on September 29, 1990, in Columbus, Mississippi.
He was baptized at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, in Columbus, Mississippi. He loved to cook, dance, sing, and play board games.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James “Tim” Rice and Lottie “Peaches” Williams.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory: mother, Tamitha Matthews; son, Ayden DeVario Matthews; sister, Sundreya (Punkin) Matthews; brother, DeMario Darnell Matthews; a host of siblings, Sierra Dickerson, Clarice Williams, Faith Williams, Dorian Williams, Garian Williams, Taquetta Fisher, Taketta Fisher, Dante Fisher, and Darnell Fisher, all from Columbus, Mississippi; grandparents, Helen and Jessie Richardson; auntie, Rosalind Matthews Hooks; uncle, Zaventres (Mann) Toney; cousin, BeAsia Hooks, all from Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
