Mr. Edward Lee Moreland was born on September 16, 1930 to the late Mr. Thaddeus and Annie Lu Moreland.
Mr. Moreland served during World War II era. He was a diligent employee for the City of Atlanta Sanitation and Park and Recreation Departments. He finished out his career as a Brick Mason. Mr. Moreland attended several churches over the course of his life.
Mr. Edward Moreland is preceded in death by Mary Helen Clayton, Jimmy Pitts, Durell Pimpton, Vivian Clayton and Janice Clayton.
Mr. Edward Lee Moreland is survived by his wife, Carry Moreland; sister, La June Johnson; children, Lucille (Lonnie) Torbert, Diane Pitts, Paul clayton, Kimberly Edwards, Bernice Pimpton, Munecas (Stephanie) Pimpton; grandchildren, Keesha Crawford, Juaquina, Larrese, Munica, Toronta, Durell Edwards, Durie Baker, Danovian, Antayious, Dynasty Pimpton, Carlton, Kenya, Eureka Matthews, Lon’tae, Valarie Torbert and Kaniesha Craig and a host of great-grandchildren.
