Mr. Edwin Adams

Mr. Edwin Jermaine Adams was born December 6, 1973, and passed away on May 30, 2021, at Emory Hospital in Atlanta, GA. At an early age, he joined Thankful Baptist Church in Decatur, GA. He was a former employee at Troutman Sanders Law Firm. His most recent employment was as a social worker for the Department of Family and Children Services in Fulton County from 2015 to 2021. He attended Georgia State University, where he earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work. He graduated with high honors.
He was preceded in death by: his sister, Kimona Levett Adams-Scott of Atlanta, GA. Leaving to cherish: his mother, Mrs. Ruth Adams Carmichael; his dad, Edward J. Adams; two nephews, Jamarcus and Kadynn; aunts, Mary, Ettie Mae, Willie Dean, Louise, and Stephanie, all from Atlanta, GA, Johnnie Kate, Lean, and Jeanie Mae, all of Unadilla, GA; uncles, Jimmy and John Henry, both of Atlanta, GA, and Bill and Eunice, both of Unadilla, GA; a special friend, Ms. Amber Vaughn of Atlanta, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and beloved friends.
