Obituary

King Kenneth Lee Johnson Jr. a.k.a. Boo was born July 14, 1994 to Loretta Hickson and Kenneth Lee Johnson Sr. in Atlanta, Georgia. He departed this life on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was proceeded in death by hisGrandfather Marcel Hickson Sr., Aunt Eva Gibson and Aunt Maxine Hickson.

He is a life-long resident of Atlanta, Georgia. He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Nebo Baptist Church and Life Center. Kenneth was highly active at Mt. Nebo. He was a member of the GA and RA Choir, Youth Usher Board, and served as astudent liaison for his fellow church members. Kenneth’s educational path began at C.L. GideonsElementary School as an honor student. He then continued to Martin Luther King Middle School andGeorge Washington Carver High School. When he matriculated to Macon State University he continued to excel academically, and perfect his musical talents. 

Memories of his precious life will forever be cherished by: his loving mother Loretta Hickson; a loving caretaker, bonus father, true friend Sidney Savage.; a loving brother Darryl (Teion) Hickson; an amazingsister LaTonya (Ashley) Cleveland; a wonderfulGrandmother Willene Hickson; loving aunts and bonus aunts: Ellen Siblis, Cynthia Bass, Marcia Hickson, Mary Hickson, Aretha Johnson,  Katrina (Dwayne) Pettway, Annastas Poplus; loving uncles: Marcel Hickson Jr, Raymond D Smith Sr. A host of cousins, friends, and extended family. Also left to cherish his memory is his long-life special friend Megan St. Clair.
