Obituary

Victor Tusone Marshall, known to many as "Vicswagg", passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia. He was born on September 19, 1989, at Grady Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, as the first of twins, born only 11 minutes before his brother Isaac.

Despite the challenges he faced, Victor lived a victorious life. Raised in Clarkston, Georgia, he attended Indian Creek Elementary and Clarkston High School before moving to Louisville, Kentucky, where he graduated from Atherton High School in 2009. Born without a kidney, he underwent dialysis, but that never stopped him from pursuing his dreams. In 2007, he received a kidney transplant, but sadly, it was rejected by his system. Yet, he never gave up.

Victor was a gifted individual, having studied Business Management at the University of Louisville, Public Relations at Simmons College of Kentucky, and Audio Production Associate certification at American InterContinental University in Atlanta. In addition, he was also certified to operate a forklift. He was a man of many talents and was passionate about music. Under the name Vicswagg, he began producing music and lyrical rapping on various social media platforms, including YouTube, where he collaborated with others and performed at different venues.

Baptized in the church at an early age, Victor never lost sight of his faith and kept God in his heart. He was known for his friendly and outgoing personality, and he never met a stranger. He had a way of leaving a genuine and lasting impression on everyone he came across. Victor also had a heart for serving others, and he volunteered at various church functions, nonprofit events, and food banks. He was in the process of starting a business venture with his long-time friend Trevin Bass of Louisville, Kentucky.

A true miracle, Victor's legacy will live on through his creative music, infectious smile, and kind heart. He was a true victor, who never gave up in the face of adversity. His passing has left a void in the lives of all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the memories he created.

Victor is survived by his mother, Debra Marshall, and father, Johnny Marshall, as well as his siblings Richard Bell, Adonis Weldon, Cynthia Stanley, his twin brother Issac Marshall, and his nephew Xavier Bell and niece Madyson Marshall, along with a host of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed, but fondly remembered as a true Victor.
