“A time to be born”
France Brown Randall was born May 10, 1935, in Laurel, Mississippi to the late Moses and Bessie Brown.
“A time to plant”
She was educated in Laurel Mississippi Public School System. She graduated from Alcorn State University with a degree in Elementary Education and from Mississippi Valley State University with a master’s degree in education. She was employed by the Greenville Public School System for 40 years until she retired in 1998.
Frances confess her faith in Christ at an early age. She was a member of New Hope First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and member of the Sanctuary choir. Frances loved her church. Frances was a member of the National Teachers Association, The Alcorn Alumni Association.
“A Time to Embrace"
Frances was married to Alton Ray Randall for forty-three years prior to his death in 2009. She was the loving mother of two daughters Pamela and Charlotte.
“A Time to Die”
Frances departed this life of 87 years on June 8, 2022 at Emory Hospital, Atlanta Georgia at 6:08 p.m. after an extended illness.
“A Time to Weep”
She leaves to cherish her memory a loving, faithful and devoted daughter and son Charlotte and Eric Vann Ross Lithonia GA, Five Grandsons Zadarsky Coleman Las Vegas Nevada Dannon Bew and Dannzal Bew Greenville Mississippi, Dante Bew Decatur Georgia Eric Vann Ross II Lithonia Georgia. Two brothers Robert Earl Brown Cincinnati Ohio and Alonzo Brown Dallas Texas. Brother-in-law Winfrey Randall (Mary) Dallas Texas. A host of Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews and a host of friends.
