Mrs. Mary J. Freeman Obituary

Mrs.Mary J. Freeman was born September 25, 1933 to the late Mr. & Mrs. Will (Hazel)Lowe. She was the first born of six children. She spent her childhood and teenage years growing up in Covington,Georgia.

Later in life, she settled in Atlanta where she raised four children of her own; Otis Lowe ,Earnest Jackson , Diane Jackson Tilghman, Judy Dudley. 
She later became the supervisor at HEAD DISTRIBUTION where she worked for over 30yrs. She was a pillar of her community where she was the the only “free candy lady” in the community for years. And was also one of the community leaders at QLS Heaven for over 20yrs were lived the later part of her Life.


She was very crafty throughout her life doing ceramics, making jewelry, cooking, and a master at planting all types of flowers.
She found joy and laughter in the simple things for her family such as cooking, cleaning and making sure that everyone around were feed and happy.


On December 1, 2019 , GOD saw fit to call her home to be with HIM. She leaves to cherish her memories her daughters , Diane Jackson Tilghman, Mr.&Mrs. Hubert (Judy) Dudley. Two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Giles, Mr.&Mrs. Forest(Vera)Hendrix ; 6 Grandchildren; 10 Great Grandchildren ;6 Great Great Grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
