Ms. Barbara Ann Price

Barbara Ann Price entered into rest peacefully on October 26, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born on January 14, 1949, in Hapeville, Georgia, to the late Marie Gunn Price. She grew up in the Mechanicville area in Atlanta, Georgia, where she attended Jane Pittman Elementary and Howard High School.
Barbara was the eldest sister and matriarch of the family. She worked for the City of Atlanta for several years. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, entertaining family and friends, giving, and feeding people.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Charles Price, and oldest grandson, Trentavious “Bankroll Fresh” White.
She leaves the cherished loves of her life, three beautiful daughters, Tami Gunn Thomas, Terisa Price (Kenneth Johnson), and Marilyn Denise Price; her grandchildren, Brian Price, Brandon McWhorter, Jorden Thomas, Tamia Thomas, Koby Price, Chynna Johnson, and Kennedi Price; a host of great-grandchildren; two brothers, Billy James and David Lee Price; and five sisters, Diane Price, Mary Ann Price, Linda Weaver, Brenda Weaver, and Margaret Weaver King.
