Ms. Cheryl Sellers

Cheryl L. Sellers went to be with the Lord succumbing to cancer the afternoon of January 2, 2026.

Cheryl received a B.A. in English from Spellman College (an HBCU) and a Masters Degree in Human Resources Training and Development. She was a school teacher for many years along with working in H.R.

In her later years, Cheryl tutored students in the Atlanta area.

Cheryl is survived by two sisters, Jane (Lenny) Ross of NYC and Ann Marie (Dwight) Williams of Griffin, GA; 1 Niece and 1 Nephew; 1 Great Niece and 1 Great Nephew.; and many students she adopted into her family.

Cheryl was a very happy, effervescent and romantic lady.  She was always yearning to learn and leading others to learn. Her energy will be missed but never forgotten.
