Ms. Dewanda Quarshaun Tate

Dewanda Quarshun Tate was born July 21, 1979  in Atlanta, GA to the late Edna Killingsworth and Willie L. Tate, Sr. Dewanda was the first born of twins and her younger siblings.

In 1993, the family relocated to Lithonia, GA, where Dewanda attended Lithonia High School. Dewanda also completed the Medical Assistant Program at United Education Institute in Morrow, GA.

Dewanda truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures: spending time with her significant other, family and friends, attending church, cooking, cheering on the Atlanta Falcons, and watching her regularly scheduled programs on television.

Dewanda was the kindest person you could ever meet and had the uncanny ability to reach people in a positive way and her smile was radiant enough to brighten anyone’s day.

Dewanda leaves behind to cherish her memory  five siblings: Shewanda (Brian) Marsh, Willie L. Tate, Jr., Joshua (LaTasha)  Tate, Jamelia Thayer, and Mary Benjamin; two Godsisters: Tomeka Tate and Sophia Leigh;  and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
