Latoshia “Tasha” Diane Williams was born on April 3, 1974, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Brenda Louise Williams and James Edward Bryant, and on March 28, 2021, the angels summoned Latoshia home. Her life would seem short to many, but those who were touched by her, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle smile, her helping hand, and her generous, laid-back, quiet demeanor brought so much joy to all who happened to have an encounter with Tasha. She showed her courage in facing life’s challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Latoshia came out a hero and stayed strong until the very end. Even with her last breath, she whispered, “Take care of all my babies.” She wore the
titles, Mother and Nana, very well.
Tasha was educated in the Atlanta Public School System and worked several different jobs throughout her life. She loved to cook.
She leaves behind her eight loving kids, Ashley Ray, Jaminique Ray, Roger Ray III, Quintavious Ray, Jaquontez Williams, JaMauri Williams, JarQuez Williams, and Jazmyne Williams; eight precious grandkids, Christopher Ray, Octavia Ray, Christian Gresham, Christina Ray, QuinDarius Ray, Rose Denham, Royel Denham, and ReNae Denham; six siblings, Willie Williams, Benny Williams, Anna Renee Ray (Anthony Ray, Sr.), Edward Williams, Cleveland Williams, and Jerald Williams (one sister, Tanya Williams, preceded her in death); a sister/ cousin, Yolanda Peeks (Clifford Peeks); a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Ray Byrdson, Naajee Mckee, Shantinerri Hargett, and Tequila Williams; and best friend, Jacinta Odums.
