Ms. Tedra Tymia (DeSue) Williams

Tedra Tymia Williams-DeSue was born on June 23,1972 to Walter Williams and Deborah Harden-Williams in Atlanta, GA. Known as a “Grady Baby”, Tedra was an Atlanta native through and through. She attended public schools, graduating from Douglass High School in 1990.  After which, she was accepted, matriculated and graduated from Depauw University in Depauw, Indiana, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Communications in 1994. Tedra went on to become an avid freelance news journalist, covering financial topics for the Bradenton Herald, Bond Buyer Publications, CCN and other freelancing jobs in the financial sectors.  She loved NASCAR and she was Jimmie Johnson’s biggest fan. She is survived by her son (Ian), Shaunte’ (sister) and many other family members, friends, and professional colleagues.
