Pastor Anna Wade Obituary

Anna Pearl Young Wade was born on June 19, 1941, to the parents of the late Dr. Willie Edward and Mrs. Vera O. Young. She graduated from Matthew W. Gilbert High School in 1958 and attended Fort Valley State University earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music and participated in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. In 1964, she married Paul Wade II and to this union Paul Wade III was born. Both have preceded her in death. Anna Wade loved people. She found joy in helping and assisting others. She founded and Pastored the Church of God for The People in Atlanta, Ga. and was guest speaker for Ministries throughout the Georgia region. It was here that she befriended Ronald Cleveland who loved and cared for her as his mother during her declining health. Leaving to mourn are her sister and brother, Vivian Forshee (Lemuel) and Errick Young (Theresa). Nieces, Qiana Forshee, Juaacklyn Stevenson (John), Jantzen Young (Steven) and Shantel Brinnius (Terrance). Nephews, Immanuel Forshee (Shelly), Gabriel Forshee (Traycetta), Joel Forshee, Ricky and Ellis Young. Grand nieces and nephews include Jeremiah, Jamiah and True Forshee, Bishop and Jaeda Stevenson, Janell and Steven Young III, Terrance, Regina and Riley Brinnius, Edward, Elisha, Erianna Gavin and Grayson Forshee. Cousins, Claretha Pullins (Patrick, Tiffney), Joan Boozman (Jonathan and Kimberly), Jeanette Lamar (Joyce), Ruby Naylor (Stephanie), Rosa Stewart (Melvin) and Billy Joe Milling (Almeta). There are many friends and loved ones that are not listed. Anna Pearl Wade lived her life to The Glory of God. She was baptized at an early age and worshipped with The Tabernacle Baptist Institutional Church congregation in Jacksonville, Florida until she moved. She allowed her light to shine, always listened and offered the One answer that always rendered results, “Let’s Pray about it”. 7 Her smile and presence will be missed but she left behind genuine heart-felt love.
