Mrs. Gwendolyn (Prichett) Ferguson

Gwendolyn Ferguson was born to  the late Zona Bell Prichett and Calvin Pritchett on November 3, 1934 in Atlanta, Georgia.  She received her GED Certificate at Atlanta Area Technical School. In 1951 Gwendolyn met and married the late Horace Ferguson, Jr. She was employed with the Atlanta Public School System for 30 years until her retirement.  
Gwendolyn was called home on October 15, 2016. She has now joined her husband, Mr. Horace Ferguson, her son, Mr. Robert Andre´ Ferguson, and Uncle Willie H. Thomas in heaven.  
God knew we were not ready for her to leave, but he left our minds at ease knowing she is in a better place.  
She leaves to cherish her life and fondest memories– Two children, Mrs. Valerie Fannin (Carl), and Mr. Eric Ferguson; Six grandchildren, Mr. Antoine Martin (Tamikel), Carlethia Fannin, Monta´ Barnes, Mikal Barnes and Chavito Ferguson; Three great-grandchildren, Diashlie  Martin, Tia Woodruff and Almira Martin; Eight Great-great grandchildren, Micah Barnes, Jr., Kylie Woodruff, Lil Andre´ Ferguson and Maniya Barnes; Two nephews, Vincent Hillman and Damon Hillman; one niece, Carman Mallary; and a host of other relatives and friends.
