I am just finding out about Paulette's transition. I have been precious memories and pictures of her when we pledged Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (71-72) at Shaw University. She was such a warm, genuine and beautiful person, inside and out. My condolences to her family because I know that this is a great loss. 'Moody" you will always be missed.

May your memories cause you to smile often in the days ahead, "While you throw all your anxieties upon him, Jehovah God, because he cares for you" (1 Pet. 5:7).

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. The scripture at John 5:28,29 confirms God's promise of a resurrection. It says all in the memorial tombs will be resurrected. I encourage you to read it, and if you would like to know more information, please go to jw.org. Thank you.

Dear family , I worked with her at Therrell She was passionate in her teaching and delighted to see students learn. She indeed left a mark on hundreds of people's lives. May the Lord comfort You at this time as well as in the days ahead.

To the family of the late Mrs. Paulette Chase Wells I am deeply sadden for you lost. She was my former teacher exactly 10 years ago and I am so thankful to have been in her presence. She was always spirited, caring and loving to all her students. Certainly a champion of teachers who dedicated her life to education. Thank you to her family for lending just a fraction of her to educate the masses. She not only inspired me to become an educator, but she sparked a light and changed the world for many generations to come. I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Wells at Therrell High School and through the years in the school system. She was a kind, caring woman who loved her profession. May the light of God surround you as you cherish the memories of the good times with your loved one in the years to come.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Wells, I had the pleasure of knowing Mrs. Wells for many years as she taught both of my children (Portia & Reginald II) at Therrell High School. Our prayers are that you find peace and comfort in the memories you hold dear to your heart.
